The Seattle Street Food Festival proudly presents the 2nd annual Pop-Up Picnic dining experince in partnership with the Cal Anderson Park Alliance, American Lamb Association and Whole Foods.

What's a Pop-Up Picnic? Think of it as an event inside an event, as we will be selling tickets for this alfresco dining experience that will start once the sun begins to set on the Seattle Street Food Festival in the heart of Cal Anderson Park.

The Pop-Up Picnic will showcase and celebrate the bounty of culinary talent here in the Northwest, while also doubling as a charity fundraiser involving a ten of Seattle's well-known and emerging chefs who will each create a street food-inspired signature dish to be judged by ticket holders and celebrity judges.

The winning chef will receive a portion of ticket proceeds to donate to a charity of their choice.

This unique "one night only" dinner will give guests the opportunity to experience food that they normally can't get at the participating chefs' restaurants, while giving chefs the chance to experiment in a culinary playground.

THE CONCEPT & EVENT

200 Guests | 10 of Seattle’s Top Chefs with Spirit Pairing | Ticketed Event | 7pm - 10pm

10 Amazing Chefs. 10 Signature Small Bites Plates. On the lawn of Cal Anderson Park underneath the stars by candlelight with acoustic music. Our selected chefs bring their best competitive spirit for the “Best Street Food” inspired dish in the city.

The dinner takes place from 7-10pm inside Cal Anderson Park, which will be fenced- off with an unique European ambiance underneath the stars with live music. The setting offers an alfresco urban picnic venue for a private festival event.

In addition, certain ticket holders are invited to attend the private industry party hosted by James Beard nominees, Ethan Stowell (Staple + Fancy/Tavalota) and two of his chefs that includes hosted bar and menu in comprised of lamb provided by the the American Lamb Association.

There will be three categories for judging: Best Signature Dish, Most Innovative and Best In Show (presentation) for judging by our guests.
